Keeping with my all book them of this week instead of giving you just one recipe to try I am going to give you 200. One of my goals for this year is to use my slow cooker at least once a week. Those days that I want something I know will be good and I don’t have to worry about having a backup plan for dinner – I use my go to slow cooker cook book – 200 Slow Cooker Creations by Stephanie Ashcraft and Janet Eyring.
This week it has really come in handy. My daughter has her first stomach flu and I am spending all my time either cuddling her or cleaning her up. There is really no time for me to spend in the kitchen cooking. So I pulled out my trusty book and with it I have made 3 meals and have been set for the week. Which 3 did I try? BBQ Pork Sandwiches, Italian Pot Roast, and the Pineapple Chicken. These all are amazing when they are fresh out of the pot, and make easy left over meals.
I have been using this book for years. Some of the recipes I have tweaked to better fit my personal tastes but most of them I just follow and it turns out awesome. I only paid $12.99 for this book! I have honestly tried at least a third of the recipes and have not marked a single one out to never make again. I only need 3 servings for our normal dinner. Most of the serving sizes in this book are 4-6 per recipe so it works out perfect with a little left over for a lunch later in the week. There are a few 10-12 if you are going to be cooking for a crowd or want to freeze some for later.

My favorite recipes are the Hawaiian Pork Chops, Scalloped Chicken, Lemon Honey Chicken, and Simple Beef Stroganoff. One of the things that my friends ask me to bring the most often to a party is the Pulled Pork recipe to make sandwiches with.
If you are looking to use your crockpot more I recommend this book to be your first purchase. (I checked and it is available on Amazon as of today.)
