There is a lot of work that goes into making a house into a home – the forgotten skill of Homemaking.  I know it sounds corny but it is true.  It takes even more work to turn a home into a content home. What do I mean by a content home? Simply it is a place where your family loves to be.

It is my dream to get my home running smoothly, keep it clean, have it decorated realistically for my family.  That means I have to spend time keeping the yard in good enough shape the house doesn’t look abandoned.  I have to organize the closets so I can find the things I need.  I need to use a schedule to keep things clean.  I need to figure out how to do small repairs and DIY projects that will save me money. There is a reason schools teach Home-Ec, running a house is hard work.  It is even harder if you have a full time job and kids to take care of.

So check here for articles on how you can achieve a content home!
